The idea of the historic hotel bar is the very origin story for the bar scene as a whole. Every cocktail out there is already telling that story, but here we intentionally pay homage. The Savoy, The Palace, The City Hotel, the Waldorf-Astoria, the Astor House—each of these bars housed some of the greatest bartenders of the 1800s. Ada 'Coley' Coleman, Harry Craddock, Orsamus Willard, Cato Alexander, and many more, we see them and we honor their story with raised glass here at Oak Steakhouse.-
